Sheet A-02 · Fast AI Strategy & Technology

FASTframework

Where AI actually moves the needle.

Most AI advice sells cost-cutting. FAST is built on velocity: faster teams and smarter products, with savings as the byproduct. It reads your operations, engineering, and product against a five-level maturity scale, then names the few priorities to resolve before the roadmap proceeds.

01 · The framework

01Operations OptimizationCut the cost of manual, repetitive work across support, QA, data, and internal workflows.
02Engineering AccelerationShip faster without trading away quality, resilience, or measurement.
03Driving Business ValueTurn AI into product, retention, and revenue, not only internal savings.

02 · Scoring

Every dimension is read on a five-level scale. An analytic judgement on the evidence, not a vanity metric.

Fig. 02 · The FAST maturity scale
01
Ad hoc
Improvised, case by case.
02
Emerging
Informal, person-dependent.
03
Defined
Documented and repeatable.
04
Managed
Measured, backed by metrics.
05
Optimized
Continuously improved, automated.

What is the FAST diagnostic?

FAST, short for Fast AI Strategy & Technology, is an evidence-based read of where AI will move the needle for a tech company. It scores operations, engineering, product, positioning, and readiness on a five-level maturity scale, then names the few priorities to resolve before a roadmap proceeds.

How is maturity scored?

Each dimension is rated Ad hoc, Emerging, Defined, Managed, or Optimized. It is an analytic judgement on the evidence, not a vanity score, and each rating carries an evidence-confidence level.

Is the scorecard the full diagnostic?

No. The two-minute scorecard is a fast self-assessment that gives you an instant read and your top priorities. The full FAST engagement validates every finding against your systems and produces an executive deck.

Who is FAST for?

Series B to pre-IPO tech leaders: founders, CTOs, and VPs of Engineering feeling velocity, cost, or competitive pressure around AI.
